Tuition Info

  • Lesson costs per term:
  • Duo $210 + GST $21
  • Private $270 + GST $27
  • A discount is offered for siblings, early payments and choosing direct debit as a payment option
  • In group & duo lessons we try to put kids learning the same instrument together but this is not always possible as it depends on numbers
  • Lessons are all 30 mins and are scheduled at various times through the school day. We aim to work out a lesson time that is least disruptive to the class timetable.
  • Students have the opportunity to enter the Kids on Key annual Talent Quest

  •  After school timeslots might be available but this varies from year to year
  • Students are required to have their own instrument and bring to school for their weekly lesson. (The only exception to this is keyboard & drums. These 2 instruments are provided for use at school but students still need their own for home practice)
  • If you need help with purchasing or hiring an instrument please contact us
  • There are opportunities for students to join the school rock band
  • We always have a major end of year concert for families and other performing opportunities are encouraged where possible

Beginner ABC Music Program

  • This program enables students to try a variety of instruments over the course of 2 terms (see below)
  • We supply the instruments and you only pay for the lessons
  • At the end of the program a report is given to you to let you know which instrument is suited to the skills and interests of your child
  • Students are given an abc workbook as an accompaniment to the program ($12 book fee added to invoice)

  • This is a golden opportunity for your child to experience music and have a ton of fun in the process
  • Tuition fees are $290 + GST $29 (group), $420 + GST $42 (duo) or $540 + $54 (private). Please note that this fee covers 2 terms of tuition.
  • Students learn in groups (4-6 students), duo or private  30 min weekly lessons

The instruments trailed in the ABC program are as follows:

Junior ABC

Prep - Gr 2: recorder (a good lead in to flute & sax), drums, ukulele, singing, keyboard, guitar, violin & basic theory

Senior ABC

Gr 3 - 6: keyboard, guitar, drums, violin, flute, clarinet, singing, saxophone, ukulele & basic theory. (For hygenic reasons woodwind instruments are demonstration only)
