Sam Rutherford

I’m a passionate and friendly music student currently studying a Bachelor of Music at SAE University. I was born in Scotland and moved to Australia when I was four—that’s also when my musical journey began, starting with piano lessons that quickly became a lifelong love.

Since then, I’ve achieved Grade 8 in piano and Grade 7 in guitar, earning certificates of excellent achievement in all my practical exams. Along the way, I discovered how much I enjoy helping others learn—especially younger peers—and it sparked my passion for teaching.

I believe music should be fun, creative, and accessible for everyone, and I can’t wait to share what I’ve learned with my students. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to build your skills, I’m here to support you on your musical journey.
