Hannah Hine
Piano/Keyboard, Beginner Violin & Guitar
Hannah is a high-energy woodwind instrumentalist who is passionate about teaching students of all ages. Her musical journey began in primary school when she first picked up the flute, quickly discovering the joy of playing and making music with friends. In high school, she expanded her skills by learning the bassoon, and her love for woodwind instruments has continued to grow ever since.
As a dedicated music educator, Hannah is committed to nurturing well-rounded musicians. Her teaching approach goes beyond just learning the notes—she incorporates key areas such as performance, theory, composition, and aural skills, helping students develop a deep understanding and appreciation of music. She brings enthusiasm, structure, and a sense of fun to every lesson, aiming to inspire a lifelong love of music in each student she teaches.
Outside the classroom, Hannah is an active performer and a valued member of several music ensembles. She plays with the Casey Philharmonic Orchestra, contributes regularly to her church’s music team, and performs bassoon in concerts with RMIT and Melbourne University music programs. She is also deeply involved in music education initiatives, including organising Youth Music Intensive programs and helping coordinate Kids on Key’s ABC program, which supports early childhood music learning.
Hannah brings warmth, experience, and a genuine passion for music into every part of her work—both on stage and in the teaching studio.
